Beginner’s Knitting
$95 for four 90 minute classes
Learn the basics of knitting including how to cast on, knit, purl, increase, decrease, and bind off. Materials are included. Classes are limited to 7 students.
January: 4 Tuesdays 7-8:30 1/15, 1/22, 1/29, & 2/5 Full
January/February: 4 Saturdays 10:30-12:00 1/19, 1/26, 2/2, & 2/9 Full
February: 4 Wednesdays 7-8:30 2/6, 2/13, 2/20, & 2/27 Full

At Patricia’s Yarns, we offer classes where the student becomes proficient with knitting. It is our mission to have students master techniques so they can be applied to any project. If you have a project in mind that doesn’t fit to a scheduled class, we can arrange a private class to provide personal, tailored instruction to complete your goal.
Project Classes:
Winter Accessories $45
Knit yourself, or someone you love, a hat, scarf, mittens, or fingerless gloves. Let us walk you through the stitch patterns. This is a great opportunity to learn new techniques on smaller projects: cabling, color work, shaping, and more. Date: January: 2 Wednesdays 7-8:30 1/23, & 1/30
Holy Cowl $45
Today, cowls and infinity scarves are a must-have fashion accessory. Knit up your own or a gift for a friend. Choose from one of many great shop designs. Date: TBD
Private Lessons
By appointment only, $50 per hour. Fantastic if your schedule is hectic and you want a class tailored to your needs.

Knit Nights $5
Sign up for social knitting and get those needles clicking again. Space is limited so register early. $5 each night holds your spot and buys wine and cheese.
Great Opportunity for Local Teachers
Patricia’s Yarns would like to sponsor Hoboken Elementary and Middle School teachers who are interested in offering knitting classes to their students. Over the summer, Hoboken teachers can take free beginner knitting lessons and receive free materials to teach knitting to students during the 2012-2013 school year. Knitting is a great hobby that teaches kids mathematics, repeated patterns, following directions, fine motor skills, and how to make things with their own hands.Teachers must work in Hoboken Schools. Interested teachers can call the shop for details 201.217.9276. This opportunity is first come, first serve and space is limited.
Fine Print
To secure your place, registration may be processed in the shop or over the phone with payment of Visa or Mastercard. If you are unable to attend class, you must contact us no later than 14 days prior to the start of class in order to receive a store credit. If notice is not given we cannot issue you a credit.
