Patricia’s Yarns Class Philosophy
At Patricia’s Yarns, we strive to offer classes where the student learns to be proficient with the subject matter. It is our mission to have students master techniques so they can be applied to any project you like! If you have a project in mind that doesn’t fit to a scheduled class, we can arrange a private class to provide personal, tailored instruction to complete your goal.
Beginner’s Knitting
$95 for four 90 minute classes
Learn the basics of knitting including how to cast on, knit, purl, increase, decrease, and bind off. Materials are included. Classes are limited to 7 students.
January: 4 Tuesdays 7-8:30pm 1/17, 1/24, 1/31 & 2/7 Full
January/February: 4 Saturdays 10:30-noon 1/28, 2/4, 2/11 & 2/18 Full
February: 4 Wednesdays 7-8:30pm 2/1, 2/8, 2/15 & 2/22Full

Project Classes
Lilli’s Little Sweater $75
Patricia has knit this sweater numerous times and is very excited to be offering this as a beyond-beginners sweater, 4 week class. This is a great way to build confidence in your knitting. In this class, you will do short rows, buttonholes, increasing, decreasing, and use double-pointed needles and finishing techniques. Class fee includes pattern book. Materials list provided upon registration. Four Wednesdays 7-8:30 3/21, 3/28, 4/4, 4/11

Private Lessons
By appointment only, $50 per hour. Fantastic if your schedule is hectic & you want a class tailored to your needs.
To secure your place, registration may be processed in the shop or over the phone with payment of Visa or Mastercard. If you are unable to attend class, you must contact us no later than 14 days prior to the start of class in order to receive a store credit. If notice is not given we cannot issue you a credit.
Knit Nights $5
Sign up for social knitting and get those needles clicking again. Space is limited so register early. $5 each night holds your spot and buys wine and cheese. Thursdays 2/23, 3/8, & 3/22
Winter Accessories!
Knit yourself or a friend a hat, scarf, mittens or fingerless gloves. This is a great opportunity to learn a new technique on a smaller proejct. Learn cabling, color work or different shaping techniques by choosing a project that challenges you.
Baby or Child Knits
Knitting baby items are very fun and rewarding. They work up relatively quickly yet offer many opportunities to learn a new technique. Project choices include sweaters, hats, mittens, booties, or blankets. There is something for every skill level. Choose a project, or two or three, to learn a new skill or technique.
Charity Knit Night
Knit cute baby hats for infants in need.
