$120 for four 90 minute classes
Learn the basics of knitting including how to cast on, knit, purl, increase, decrease, and bind off. Materials are included. Classes are limited to 7 students. Please note, beginner classes fill quickly.

At Patricia’s Yarns, we offer classes where the student becomes proficient with knitting. It is our mission to have students master techniques so they can be applied to any project. If you have a project in mind that doesn’t fit to a scheduled class, we can arrange a private class to provide personal, tailored instruction to complete your goal.
“Wee Speedy 2” Baby Sweater $50 (Materials not included)
Knit up this quick, adorable baby sweater, perfect for the little one in your life. This sweater lives up to its name and can be knit up quickly in two short sessions. Requirements: must be able to knit, purl and basic shaping. Date: Sundays October 4th and 11th, 11-1PM.
Winter Accessories $50
Knit a beautiful winter accessory in this two-session class. This is a great time to learn a new technique and build your knitting repertior. Knit a hat, a cowl, fingerless gloves, to try Fair Isle Knitting. You need to know how to cast-on and knit. Dates: TBD
By appointment only, $50 per hour. Fantastic if your schedule is hectic and you want a class tailored to your needs.
Annual Trip to the Sheep and Wool Festival, Rhinebeck, NY – $55
We charter a bus every year for this wonderful event. Nothing says Fall like Rhinebeck in October. Call the shop to reserve your spot. Sunday October 18th
Enjoy an evening of social knitting – TBD (Remember, there is a Stitch and Bitch group that meets Tuesday night at Panera Bread in Hoboken, 7PM)
Great Opportunity for Local Teachers
Patricia’s Yarns sponsors Hoboken teachers who are interested in offering knitting classes to their students. Hoboken teachers can take free beginner knitting lessons and receive free materials to teach knitting to students during the school year. Knitting is a great hobby that teaches kids mathematics, repeated patterns, following directions, fine motor skills, and how to make things with their own hands.Teachers must work in Hoboken Schools. To secure your place, registration may be processed in the shop or over the phone with payment of Visa or Mastercard. If you are unable to attend class, you must contact us no later than 14 days prior to the start of class in order to receive a store credit. If notice is not given we cannot issue you a credit.
